RDNSD is a program designed to redirect DNS queries to a specified name server whose response is redirected back to the client. It requires a key file that you get when you register your server. This is used to validate incoming queries. Please keep your key secure. If you realize later that you made a mistake during registration and need to change your infromation, instead of registering a new server please use the "Change IP, port or key" link in the 'Manage Server Info' section of the site to make any needed changes to your server information. You may want to write down the information you registered with in case you want to make changes later.

The broad idea is that a controller can send a query to each RDNSD server and direct each RDNSD server to forward that query to a single name server or the name server local to each RDNSD. This is important because this will allow a person to identify when the answer to these queries differs between the RDNSD servers, implications can be made based on the differences. The controller is responsible for sorting out the differences, RDNSD is responsible for query/response forwarding.
